PIS PASEP is an independent application and is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or officially connected to Caixa Econômica Federal, the Brazilian Federal Government, or any government agency. The App provides informational and estimation tools related to the PIS/PASEP wage allowance (Abono Salarial).

Information We Collect

We collect the following categories of information:

  • Information you provide: The NIS/PIS number you enter to perform a consultation. This number is processed locally on your device to estimate your payment schedule and is not transmitted to or stored on our servers.
  • Device and technical information: Device model, operating system version, language and region settings, network connection type, app version, and unique device or advertising identifiers.
  • Usage data: How you interact with the App, including screens viewed, features used, taps, session duration, and in-app events.
  • Diagnostic data: Crash logs, error reports, and performance data used to identify and fix problems.
  • Advertising identifiers: Identifiers such as the Apple IDFA or Google Advertising ID (AAID), used to deliver and measure advertising, subject to your consent where required.
  • Locally stored preferences: Settings and preferences saved on your device (for example, premium status) using local storage on your device.

How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect for the following purposes:

  • To provide the App's core functionality, including estimating PIS/PASEP payment schedules and displaying payment calendar information.
  • To display advertising and measure its performance.
  • To analyze usage, understand user behavior, and improve features and performance.
  • To diagnose technical problems, detect crashes, and maintain stability.
  • To send push notifications about payment dates and relevant updates (with your permission).
  • To process in-app purchases and manage premium (ad-free) access.

Sensitive Information (NIS/PIS Number)

The NIS/PIS number you enter is treated with special care. This number is used solely to calculate an estimated payment month and date based on its final digit. All of this processing occurs locally on your device.

  • We do not transmit your NIS/PIS number to our servers.
  • We do not sell, rent, or share your NIS/PIS number with third parties.
  • The estimates provided are informational only and may differ from official figures published by Caixa Econômica Federal.

You are responsible for keeping your NIS/PIS number confidential when using the share feature, which composes a message you may choose to send through other apps.

Advertising

The App is supported by advertising and uses Google AdMob to display banner, interstitial, rewarded, and native ads. Depending on your consent and platform settings, ads may be personalized based on advertising identifiers and usage data, or non-personalized.

  • On iOS, we request permission through Apple's App Tracking Transparency framework before tracking you across apps or websites for advertising purposes. You may decline, in which case you will receive non-personalized ads.
  • On Android, advertising relies on the Google Advertising ID, which you can reset or limit in your device settings.
  • We integrate the Meta (Facebook) Audience Network and TikTok advertising events to measure ad and campaign performance.

You can purchase the premium version of the App to remove ads.

Analytics and Crash Reporting

We use third-party tools to understand how the App is used and to improve reliability:

  • Firebase Analytics and Microsoft Clarity collect usage and interaction data, including aggregated behavioral analytics and session insights.
  • Firebase Crashlytics collects crash and error reports to help us fix bugs.
  • Firebase Remote Config is used to manage feature flags and configuration remotely.

This data is generally aggregated and pseudonymous and is used to improve the App's functionality and stability.

Push Notifications

With your permission, we use Firebase Cloud Messaging to send push notifications, such as reminders about PIS/PASEP payment dates and important updates. You may disable notifications at any time in your device settings. Disabling notifications does not affect the core functionality of the App.

Permissions We Request

The App may request the following permissions, each used only for its stated purpose:

  • Notifications: To send you payment reminders and updates.
  • Advertising identifier / Tracking (iOS App Tracking Transparency, Android AD_ID): To deliver and measure advertising.
  • Media library / Storage: To save, print, or share documents and consultation results that you generate.
  • Network access: To load advertising, analytics, configuration, and over-the-air updates.

You can grant or revoke these permissions at any time through your device settings.

In-App Purchases

The App offers optional in-app purchases (for example, a premium ad-free experience) managed through RevenueCat together with the Apple App Store and Google Play. Purchases and subscriptions are processed by Apple or Google; we do not collect or store your full payment card details. RevenueCat processes purchase and entitlement data to manage and validate your subscription status.

Data Sharing and Disclosure

We do not sell your personal information. We may share information only in the following circumstances:

  • With the third-party service providers listed above, to operate and improve the App.
  • To comply with applicable law, regulation, legal process, or enforceable governmental request.
  • To protect the rights, property, or safety of our users, the public, or us.
  • In connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, in which case we will require any successor to honor this policy.

Data Retention

We retain information only for as long as necessary to fulfill the purposes described in this policy. Analytics and advertising data are retained according to the retention settings of the respective service providers. Data stored locally on your device (such as preferences) remains until you clear it or uninstall the App. Crash and diagnostic data are retained for the period needed to investigate and resolve issues.

Data Security

We take reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your information against unauthorized access, alteration, disclosure, or destruction. Sensitive input such as your NIS/PIS number is processed locally on your device and is not transmitted to our servers. However, no method of transmission over the Internet or electronic storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

Depending on your location, you may have rights under laws such as the Brazilian General Data Protection Law (LGPD), the European General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), and the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA), including:

Account Deletion and Data Removal

The App does not require you to create an account to use its core features. If you wish to delete data associated with your use of the App, you can:
