This Privacy Policy describes how Eleicao ("we", "our", or "us") collects, uses, and protects your information when you use our mobile application.

Information We Collect

When you use Eleicao, we may collect:

  • Device and diagnostic data — model, OS version, crash logs, and performance metrics.
  • Advertising identifiers — IDFA/GAID when tracking permission is granted.
  • Approximate location — only if you allow it, to suggest your municipality for election content.
  • Purchase status — via Apple and RevenueCat (we do not store full payment card data).
  • Usage analytics — screens and feature interactions in aggregate form.
  • Push tokens — if you enable notifications.

We do not require a mandatory account to browse public election information. We do not intentionally collect government ID numbers or full voter registration files.

How We Use Information

We use this information to:

  • Show election results, candidates, rankings, and regional news.
  • Deliver and measure ads on the free tier.
  • Provide premium features and restore purchases.
  • Send optional alerts you request.
  • Improve stability and prevent abuse.
  • Meet legal and App Store requirements.

Third-Party Services

Providers that may process data under their own policies:

Public election figures may come from official or public sources such as Brazil’s electoral authority (TSE) and related feeds, each under their own notices.

Advertising and Tracking

The free version may show ads (banner, interstitial, rewarded, app-open). On iOS we request App Tracking Transparency before personalized advertising. If you deny tracking, you may still see non-personalized ads. You can change this in iOS Settings → Privacy & Security → Tracking.

Location

Location is used only with “when in use” permission to help identify your city. You can deny it and select the municipality manually.

Subscriptions and Purchases

Optional premium features are sold through Apple In-App Purchase. Payment is handled by Apple; we receive purchase status via Apple and RevenueCat. Manage subscriptions in your Apple ID settings.

Data Retention and Security

We keep data only as long as needed for the purposes above or legal compliance. We use HTTPS and vendor security practices. No system is perfectly secure.

Children's Privacy

Eleicao is a general-audience informational app and is not directed to children under 13 (or the minimum age in your region). We do not knowingly collect data from children. Contact us if you believe this occurred.

Your Rights and Account Deletion

Because a login is not required for core browsing, deletion usually means uninstalling the app, clearing local data, and revoking permissions. You may also email brunovercosa487@gmail.com to request deletion of server-side identifiers we control (analytics/push tokens) where available. We will respond as required by applicable law.

International Transfers

Vendors such as Google, Apple, and RevenueCat may process data outside your country, including the United States.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy. The “Last updated” date will change when we do. Continued use after updates constitutes acceptance where permitted by law.
